PIDP 3260 Professional Development Plan
My professional development plan for PIDP 3260 Professional Practice.

For this blog post (Week 8's assignment), we are required to comment on other learning activities we may take part in, such as ongoing subject matter as well as development as an instructor such as conferences/books, professional organizations or instructional techniques to try.

Well, as I'm developing courseware for my program in aerospace trades, I'm constantly seeking out knowledge from subject matter experts so that I can convert it into something we can teach. I've been doing a lot of specific subject matter training in aerospace by default.

I'm being sent to a leadership conference in late spring, which should be interesting. I have to do a presentation after the conference to discuss what I learned, so I hope it's useful. I'm not a fan of a politicians' wife being one of the guest speakers, but I think Roberta Bondar is pretty cool.

I looked into the roundtables that are being offered by CPHR (https://cphrbc.ca/learning/calendar/) and there is one about Learning and Development, so I registered for that too. (1.25 CPD credits too)
